Drama zaroori hai…

From ‘chappal phenko’ drama on public figures to serials relying on over-the-top story lines (unrelated to realism), drama today has become the most important quotient to make it into the headlines. So why not ADS?

Remember the famous Guinness ad (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t4sdgvy-pk), the evolution one; or for that matter, the ads of Kurkure (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1t4sdgvy-pk), the ‘tedha hai par mera hai’ one? All that they wanted was to sell a bottle of beer or a packet of chips. But what they ended up was not just that – but word-of-mouth ambassadors talking about the ad & the product, various discussions on how weird or how creative approach, multiple sites unfolding how it’s different from vanilla ideas and finally, agencies trying to cash-in on their innovative project! Phew!!!

That’s more than what you could ask for.

So, turn dramatic…don’t just stick to saying a ‘thing’ the way it’s meant to be. Instead, go the other way round. Create a story, dramatize the situation and take a leap of imagination.

Make them cry, roll with laughter or stir their soul… force them to think, talk and share your ‘approach’.

What you end up is not mere a good sales chart for your clientele, but perhaps a multiplied audience for all the work you do and brilliant minds keen to work with you!

Let the drama begin!
